If you have large or heavy items that you do not want combined with other purchases, a custom shipping profile is the best way to handle it.
Using a “single ship” profile ensures:
- The item ships in its own box
- It is not combined with other items in the buyer’s order
- A separate shipping label is created
Step 1: Go to Shipping Profiles
- Go to your Seller Hub
- Click the “Shipments” dropdown
- Select “Shipping Profiles”
Step 2: Create a New Profile
- Click the yellow “Create Shipping Profile” button
Step 3: Set Up Your Profile
On this screen:

Use something simple like Single Ship Item -
Weight:
- If you use max shipping, you can set a standard weight (example: 5 lbs)
- If not, enter the actual weight + 5–10 oz for packing materials
Step 4: Turn On Single Ship Setting (Most Important)
- Toggle “Set the maximum number of items to put into one package” to ON
- Set the max to 1
This ensures the item will not be combined with anything else.
Step 5: Set Box Dimensions
- Change box size to Custom
- Enter 12 x 12 x 12 (or your preferred box size)
Step 6: Publish
- Click Publish
Your custom shipping profile is now saved.
Step 7: Use It When Listing Items
When listing an item:
- Scroll to the Shipping Profile section
- Select your custom profile (example: Single Ship Item)
That item will now ship separately from all other items in the order.
Final Tip
Use a single ship profile for:
- Large items
- Heavy items
- Fragile items
- Anything you do not want combined
This keeps your shipping organized and protects your items during transit.
