First, How to Set Up Your Giveaway Listing
All giveaways should be created as a quality listing.
That means:
- Use a clear photo, this can be your logo or a generic image
- Clearly describe what the giveaway is in the description
- Include your giveaway terms + disclaimer, copy/paste below 👇
Important, “Buyer’s Giveaways” Rules
If you offer buyer’s giveaways, this part is really important:
You CANNOT offer different prizes for buyers vs. form fillers.
Form fillers are people who enter your giveaway through Whatnot’s entry form without making a purchase, this is required for legal sweepstakes compliance.
👉 This means:
- Everyone must have equal access to the SAME prize
- You cannot “tier” prizes based on purchase
- Buyers and non-buyers must have the same chance to win the same item
My Honest Tip
If you don’t want a form filler to win your best item,
👉 Don’t make it a giveaway.
Instead:
- Add it into a buyer’s box
- Include it as a surprise bonus
- Reward your buyers outside of giveaways

Bonuses = where you can spoil your buyers
